Snettisham Church in Norfolk, UK
Snettisham church's fine architecture shows really well against a blue sky and sunny background, but the Canadians loved it so much that they took the design and built an identical replica in New Brunswick, called Christ Church Cathedral.

And then they were 5
One fell over and bumped his head. These pillars outside a church in Northolt, London were hard to get into frame, so you see I've sneakily cropped the tat out.
I felt sorry for the one that had fallen, especially as it had probably given many years of good service. |
Three crosses at Henley
This is Henley church seen from the west, with a flagpole and a war memorial in front. I like the idea of these three crosses in a row, and I guess SOME people might see some symbolism, especially with the central one appearing taller. |
Marlow Bridge by night
This is Marlow Bridge, looking east from the road way. This long exposure shot (the best of about 20) shows a car streaming past the camera. I like the debris in the foreground, a contrast against the clean lines of the bridge itself. I think it shows that even the most beautiful things have flaws |
Marlow Church at night
This church at Marlow is partially lit, along with the bridge. The long (2 second) exposure gives it a really yellow hue. |
Itchy
This seagul was hanging around for ages waiting for me to take a photograph. This is my favourite of the lot. Expect it to get cropped and reuploaded |
Trees are green
unless they're pictured in black and white. I love the tree contrasting against the sea |
Cluttered
This hidden inlet was full of driftwood arranged randomly. the high tide mark cast a lovely shadow along the rock. |
Blue me away
I love the way stuff gets bluer as it gets further away. That's vancouver island I think in the foreground |
Seals at rest
These seals were hanging about. Posing I'm sure.. Couldn't resist |
Steps of Stone
Steps :) |
squiffy from the road |
The Sky at Day
I loved the clouds on this photo.. blacknwhite rools |
Wreckage on the beach
There's soo much driftwood from the logging industry all around vancouver. |
Drifting away
More driftwood.. I love it |
The lighthouse
Honestly I'm not sure if there was a lighthouse here, but I'd put one there if it were me. |
squiffy from the road |
Vancouver gate
Vanier Park's gateway monument, with a small twist. |
Danger Keep Off Pier
Meant to do this in black and white. Oops |
Dereliction
These rails to nowhere used to take wood to the sea. Sadly they are now in disarray. |
